Chocolate pizza is a delightful treat that combines the goodness of pizza with the sweetness of chocolate.

Here’s a recipe to make this scrumptious dessert:

Ingredients:

For the Pizza Dough:
  1. 1 package (¼ ounce) active dry yeast
  2. 1 cup warm water (110°F)
  3. 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  4. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  5. 1 teaspoon sugar
  6. 1 teaspoon salt

For the Toppings:
  1. 1 ½ cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
  2. ½ cup caramel sauce
  3. ½ cup chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, or hazelnuts)
  4. ¼ cup shredded coconut (optional)
  5. Fresh fruits like strawberries, bananas, or raspberries (optional)
  6. Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

Prepare the Dough:
  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil.
  3. Mix the ingredients until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-1.5 hours until it doubles in size.

Assemble and Bake:
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a round or rectangular shape to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake the pizza dough for about 10-12 minutes until it just starts to become golden.
  5. Remove the partially baked dough from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the surface.
  6. Return the pizza to the oven for an additional 3-5 minutes until the chocolate begins to melt.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle caramel sauce over the melted chocolate.
  8. Sprinkle chopped nuts, shredded coconut, and any other desired toppings like fresh fruits over the chocolate-covered pizza.
  9. Return the pizza to the oven for 2-3 minutes to heat the toppings slightly.
  10. Once done, remove the chocolate pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  11. Dust the pizza with powdered sugar for an extra touch before slicing and serving.
